15MVA Transformer Maintenance & Commissioning
Our team carried out a full maintenance project on a 15MVA transformer to ensure its reliability and long-term performance. The work included replacing the transformer oil to maintain proper insulation and cooling, regasketing to prevent leaks, and performing thorough testing to confirm safe operation. We also completed a full respray for protection against weathering and corrosion, followed by recommissioning the unit back into service. This project highlights our expertise in restoring critical equipment to peak condition while extending its service life.
Transformer Bushing Replacement & Regasketing
This project focused on essential transformer maintenance to guarantee safe and efficient operation. Our technicians replaced worn bushings—critical components that provide insulated connections between internal windings and external power lines—while also regasketing the unit to eliminate potential oil leaks. By prioritizing safety and precision at every step, we ensured the transformer continues to operate reliably in demanding conditions.
Street Light Installation & Maintenance
This project involved the installation of modern street lighting for industrial access near the Harmony mine in Randfontein. Our team focused on the critical electrical scope, including new power distribution, switching controls, and final cable terminations to the light heads. This work provides essential, energy-efficient illumination for safe transport and operations in the mining area.
Solar Plant Electrical Integration: PV Strings & Cabling
This stage involved the precise termination of PV strings and the installation of all DC cabling to form the plant's power collection network. Our team meticulously routed, secured, and labeled every cable while ensuring all electrical terminations met strict safety and performance standards. This foundational work guarantees the reliable and efficient transmission of energy to the inverters.
